Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan is an Indian-Hindi dialect family drama serial based on a Romantic Love story. Radha Mohan drama serial aired on Zee Tv on 2 May 2022, under the banner of LSD Private Limited Studio. This series Radha Mohan is the remake of Yaaradi Nee Mohini,  which is Zee Tamil’s show.

Shabir Ahluwalia is playing the role of Mohan, a married man who is raising his stubborn daughter. His daughter hates him because she believes his father is the reason for her mother’s death. Mohan is a very strong, single parent and a hardworking man. His daughter’s name is Gungun who does not listen to him nor obey him. Mohan married to Tusli out of love and after her death, the last ritual was not performed by the family nor by him because he wanted to keep her ashes along with him. And it is shown in the house that his wife Tusli’s soul has rested in peace and received any salvation. She is always with him wandering in the house, playing her role as a ghost-loving mother and of a wife. Whenever their daughter Gungun falls in an accident she is the one who saves her.

Mohan had two mothers and Kadambari is his stepmother after his first mother’s death. And she wants him to marry her niece Damini who is an evil and wicked nature woman, she is only agreeing to marry Mohan for his property. The concept of gold diggers is very common in Hindi Desi serials. Most of Indian Drama serials have the same typical concept of showing each family member, the selfish and greedy people. Moreover, Damini tries to gain his daughter’s attention but all her efforts go in vain because Gungun does not like her either. 

प्यार का पहला नाम: राधा मोहन , On the other hand, Radha is presented as a very loving and devoted woman who saves Gungun’s life in an accident and is staying at Mohan’s house as a guest but there she finds that Mohan is a very kind and a loving man despite his appearance and attitude. And thus he becomes her inspiration and she starts idealizing him and that is how their love story starts. Radha falls in love with him.  And as the attraction between them becomes more serious and closer Damini and his stepmother notice that and Damini starts getting jealous of Radha. 

Damini tries all her plans to trap Radha and get her out of the house. While Radha is shown as a very lovely child of her godmother. She believes that her Bhagwan is the one who saves her and supports her in every phase of her life well, which is quite true too. He helps her a lot in so many things in the serial. 

Moreover, As We know Tulsi’s soul is wandering in the house and is not at peace, Damini and Kadambari find out about Tulsi’s soul, and with the help of Guruma they try to trap her soul but all their Pooja and efforts go in vain. Radha is now well aware of their evil acts but can not tell Mohan because she thinks he might not belive in her. But she promises herself that she will do everything to protect him and his daughter from Damini and his mother. As Radha is a very loving and caring woman, Gungun gets attracted to her and they both form a strong bond of friendship which makes Mohan happy. 

When Damini and Kadambari see that Mohan and Gungun have become closer to Radha and now their plans of taking his wealth will be ruined. Damini plans to get her out of her house. She blames her in front of everyone especially Mohan, just to destroy her reputation. But Radha proves her innocence in front of Mohan and stays with dignity. All the plans of Damini are failed and this time too she could not get Radha out of the house.
