Sherdil Shergill revolves around the life of Manmeet Shergill who is the great Architect to ever exist. She is the owner of her Architecture company which is run by her alone. Sherdil Shjergill is the New Drama Serial that at its first release has shared nitty-gritty details about the life of an independent woman and the secret comedian Rajkumar Yadav. In reality, the serial is lukewarm at its best.

The story begins with the characters who have their own individual stories and mindsets. Surbhi Chandna is playing the lead role of Manmeet Shergill. Manmeet is shown as a hard-working woman who with her efforts made a name in the field of architecture, and outvied the male-dominated society. Sheis perfectly plays her role as a single parent who has a son Anmol Shergill. Anmol is not accepted in the Manmeet family because of his father’s actions. Though, still away from her Home, she gets an invitation to her younger sister ‘Gunjan’s wedding from her family with conditions to follow. That Manmeet will not bring her son along with her to the family function
Later in the serial, Manmeet has to hire a trainee who is 
Rajkumar Yadav for saving her Company’s reputation. Rajkumar Yadav is in the PR management team and has excellent skills in speech and crisis management but Manmeet is not so happy with his performance because of his playful and fun nature.
Years after living a distorted life, Manmeet realizes that she can actually use Raj as her fake husband in front of her family until her sister Gunja’s wedding. No Doubt! Manmeet is a strong woman but she is still running from society and her family’s judgments. And as Raj is a Stand-up comedian, he will handle the situation properly in her family. Despite that, Raj has a girlfriend Nikki, of whom he is so tired and wants to get rid of her. Raj agrees to Manmeet’s requests of faking as her husband and his life will be easier from then. But the Writers have decided something else for both of them. Raj is done with Nikki and wants Manmeet to pretend to be her Wife so that can flee away from Nikki’s daily blackmailings.
Going into the story, you will be tricked, like I have been, into believing that Sherdil Shergill’s details of the Desi Serial Entertainment industry will be exposed in front of fans. And Manmeet will truly fall in love with Raj. but I did have the same question that you have…Will Manmeet accept Raj’s proposal after being hurt Once? Will they have a smooth-sailing chemistry? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ However, the show is so unpredictable sometimes and can be predictable sometimes, and that is the reason why so many fans love Sherdil Shergill Jodi immensely. Manmeet accepts Raj’s request of pretending to be his wife by overcoming her fear of being called someone’s wife again.
